"A Loan Exhibition of Antique Automatons for the Benefit of the Pestalozzi Foundation of America." Published in 1950 by A La Vieille Russie, New York. Soft cover, 69 pages with 6 tipped-in color plates and 44 black-and-white photographs. The book measures 11 inches (28.5 cm) high by 8-1/2 inches (21.5 cm) wide.

This is an annotated catalogue of the 165 automatons that were exhibited in November, 1950, for the benefit of the Pestalozzi Foundation of America (a charity organization) at A La Vieille Russie in New York. There is a laid in addendum, illustrating 1 item. The catalog includes biographical data on Watchmakers and Clockmakers.

There is a seven-page introduction written by Alfred Chapuis, a distinguished Swiss authority on horology, who is the author of several books on automata.

Only 2,000 of these catalogs were printed to accompany the one-month loan exhibition of the finest small and delicate musical and automata pieces.
